FISHING

Come experience fishing at its best, all year round, on the famous Pike Lake Chain! Moose Jaw is situated on the shores of Round Lake, the largest in the five-lake chain, which boasts over 2000 acres of water with a varied shoreline, hidden bays, and sheltered inlets. Muskie, Northern, Walleye, Crappie, Perch, Bass, and a variety of Panfish can be found waiting to strike in the cool, coppery waters. With five lakes to fish (Round, Pike, Turner, Amik, and Tucker), you’ll be sure to find just the right spot where the fish are biting!

Moose Jaw has private docking facilities in a protected bay. A fish-cleaning house with running water is also available near the docks. We have boats available for rent (make this a link to the boat rentals page) and live bait for sale. There is a boat landing adjacent to the resort at the Round Lake Recreation Area. And, for those who like ice fishing, come brave the cold and catch the big one through the ice— many of our cabins are four-season.
